Information, not advice
All figures are benchmarks and estimates. Median salaries are cited per the Federal Statistical Office (BFS) and named official sources; tax parameters follow the Federal Tax Administration (ESTV) and social-insurance rates in force for 2026. The gross-to-net calculator applies simplified assumptions - indicative effective tax rates for a single taxpayer in the canton capital, the legal-minimum BVG pension and a typical accident-insurance cost - so results can differ from your actual payslip. Nothing on this site is tax, legal, financial or immigration advice. For binding answers, consult the competent authority or a licensed professional.
Accuracy and updates
We verify figures at publication time and date every page, but rates, thresholds and statistics change. Swiss official statistics are revised periodically. Use the linked primary sources for decisions, and check the update date on each page before relying on a number.
